A downloadable LIZARD for Windows

A story about life, death and suicide.

You are a psychotherapist.

One day, you meet an odd patient.

Records left by her previous doctor reveal that she has attempted suicide multiple times.

She hates lizards but insists that you call her "LIZARD."

Her grades are poor, and she hate school.

She seems to have a few "special friends" (well, that's the odd part—) living in her mind.

Although her previous doctor called it "auditory hallucinations".

Could you help her?

Epilogue(●'◡'●)

This is my first independent game. As I edit these words, it still feels a little unreal—did I really accomplish so much on my own? (I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me during its creation!)

It looks silly and short.

I wrote so much code, yet the final effect feels like a glorified PowerPoint with music.

And yet, it feels so long.

This game spans the entirety of my eighteenth year and follows me to today, as I near my twentieth birthday. Or perhaps it began even earlier—from the time my mom first taught me how to write the character for “death”, but I cried at night, asking her, "Mom, can you not die? I don’t want to die either"; from the first time I read about Sisyphus; from the countless times I faced overwhelming pressure and joked with friends about forming a "Suicide Squad"...

All of these reflections—about life, death, pain, and suicide—ultimately shaped this game: silly yet profound, short yet long.

“Only the simplicity of death shines upon me like the moon.”

This is dedicated to Nozick.

He said that the true utopia is one that encompasses all utopias.

So I let LIZARD say, "The beautiful things we sincerely praise about must infinitely exist in some worlds."

It is also dedicated to everyone who feels fragile and uneasy because of life.

wish you all like LIZARD in the HE ending, find true freedom:)
